They should come in today. The hawk's pads were about 175 for the set and the brembo rotors about 370 for the set.

Pads came in, but to my disappointment no rotors. I was hoping to get the brakes replaced today. Looks like I have to wait.

I didn't buy the lines yet, I may get to it this evening but I'm working on a buddies car. I'll look into those lines, I had just planned on getting the ones from AM. I'll compare em tonight or tomorrow.

Ok, been really busy lately. Went to a couple shows. No work on the mustang recently. I did get my MCA member card in the mail finally!

The Mustang Club of America, the national Musang club. I joined when I joined my local club, it was both at the same time an only cost about 50 bucks.

Thanks. You should should see it washed and waxed. I haven't cleaned it since we had those storms the week before last so it's fairly dirty. Driving down the dirt road to get to the Gun Runners gun show last weekend didn't help either.

Looking at picking up another pony for the stable. I would replace the hood as I'm not a big fan of that one.

Its got a rebuilt 302, and looks to be in good shape. The top may need a motor as the top has to be put up or down by hand, but that's no biggie. I'm gonna try and go check it out.

I feel bad for the guy who's green foxbody broke down after his burnout run. The people who were standing around me actually forgot he even ran.

Looks clean. Good call on wanting to change the hood. I take it the silver stripe is painted?

Appears so, it would be repainted shortly after I got it.

I need to verify the year. It doesn't look like an 85, but he may have converted the front end when he did the hood.

Took her to the strip Thursday.

With the a/c on, and taking it easy through 1st and 2nd to avoid spinning. Ran a 16.1. Got rained out before I could make another run. I'll post the time slip when I get home.

20130822 200053 - YouTube

In a couple weeks I'll go again without a full tank of gas, pull the back seats, spare tire, center console and passenger seat and remember to turn off the a/c!

I'm positive if I could have gotten more runs in I would have hit several high 15's that night. I'm shooting for low 15's after the weight reduction.
