Question Can anyone help me start my mustang??

So for probably the last month or so when you hit a bump in my car it will act like it's going to die.. but doesn't. Until the last time I drove it.. it hasn't driven sense. When it died it started up again and drove about 20 feet before dieing again. After being towed home it started for maybe 5 seconds. Since then it hasn't started at all.

Can anyone give me some pointers? I'm at a loss here!

Find someone with a tuner or code reader to pull the dtc codes. Thats the best place to start. But it also wouldnt hurt to check and make sure your fuel cut off switch hasn't tripped. Its in the trunk behind the carpet just in front of the drivers side brake light. Its a red button in a black plastic box.

Could be your fuel pump/filter, timing chain, a fuel line could be pinched, you could even put some injector cleaner into you gas tank to see If that helps. But, a code reader is def your best Bet.

Thanks so much for everyones input! I will look into all that this evening. I've been looking for someone that has the tester and so far no one does. I suppose I could tow it to auto zone and have them hook it up.. but that seems like a pain. (but if it comes down to it I suppose I will)

I have checked the fuel cutoff switch and it is down like it should be. I have also checked the spark plugs. I think the fuel pump is okay because it does kick on when you turn the key.

Also, I don't know if this is part of the same problem or a different problem but when the car is trying to be started there the second bolt back from the font on the right side of the valve cover sparks?!

Sounds like your spark plug wire is melted or cracked and its shorting out on your engine that might be what the spark you see is. I would check all of you plug wires
