I would drop it for a V8, you can go to pick a part and get a V8 for a couple hundred dollars if you search hard.

i would not add a turbo charger to a '99 v6 mustang. I would add a turbo to a '99 acura integra gsr any day though.

you would be better off buying a v8 mustang as the cost of just switching engines will be more than you realize. Alot of work to be done, not just engine swapping= TOO MUCH MONEY.

Sell it and buy one with a v-8 if that's feasible to you. It's always cheaper that way, and people are looking to get rid of v-8 cars now any way. Unless it's just a project. Then pull the engine and swap it.

there are supercharger complete kits and exhaust systems that will give you more than enough power.you wont have any problem running with the v8s and you get way better gas mileage than you wouls with a modified 4.6 v8.check out vortech and good luck

3. Swap in 4.2L v6 from a 99-03 F150 that has 210 horsepower and 260 TQ and adapt a 4.6L KB supercharger to it.

I win.
