2002 mustang v6 3.8 L?

If you own this car (stock) is it quick?

I want this year of mustang but can't afford the insurance on a 4.6 L

I like cars that are relatively fast, and get up to speed quick?

4th gen V6's have under 200 HP and weight 3,115 lbs so what do you think?
(the answer is NO)

not to mention they're not easy/cheap to mod either. A lot of kids get them thinking they can make them fast and fool the insurance companies but the fact is to put something like a CAI or SC on it and have it actually do something/not destroy the engine you'd have to replace half of it first which costs thousands and is really more money/trouble than it's worth.

So unless you can afford the GT or a 2011 V6 you're outta luck

no the v6 isnt quick but a terringa supercharger kit will fix that. no it hasnt got the accelleration you want like a honda civic but it is cheaper to run then the v8 gt. or another alternative ethier save up for the v8 till you can afford it or buy used crown vic. its got almost the same 4.6 v8 in it

There's a reason we V8 Mustang owners refer to V6 cars as "geldings".
