I'm def. doing 4.10 ford racing gears In the near future but it's like 600 dollars for the gears, bearings and then 400 for installation cuz I don't think there is anyway I can do it myself

Defiantly ask around cause the first guy that said he would install my springs for 320 then everyone else said 180-150. I did them myself tho. But usually they will try to price match or go lower to get business. Call around for the gears.

$400 for a gear install is pretty good. Labor isn't cheap, I learned that especially in california

have you thought about just banking the cash for a while...lower it...nice wheels...make it sound good..and call it a day till the savings account mod has grown. then decide if you wanna build the v6 or buy another car

no i understand the mileage thing..after college i bought an '04 GT and loved it, but then i started having to make an hour commute to work...so yeah that meant some fun gas fees thanks to the mod bug. Ended up selling it last year for my sixxer...now i'm saving some commute money, and enjoying a auto x build. not as costly as a power build but just as fun

Ya I feel you it's got a lot of kick I think gears was the last thing I was gonna do for power then just do handling and appearance I'm still a kid and I always felt spurned cuz it wasn't a v8... I hate when people ask Is it a gt but since I've done so much to it they don't even ask anymore they assume it is haha

I got the SR ones when they were in sale for 110 it's a great drop if you don't wanna tear the underside of your car all to hell. I'm happy with them. Put them on 3 days ago
