If it looks like a normal muffler it could be anywhere from flow master 40-50s but its probably a 40 series muffler unless its the size of a dollar bill then that is a flow master 10

It looks like a normal muffler. Any specific marking that can tell me the model?

2004 Mustang V6 3.9L

- Stock Headers
- Pypes Off-Road X-Pipe
- Flowmaster American Thunder Cat-Back made for Mustang GT 99-04

PRO: I love this setup, it`s directly bolt-on... Don`t need O2 extenders
CONS: Sound get too raspty over 3000rpm and you need a tune to clear the Engine code.

Look at pics below your post above. FM Original 40 is silver. FM Delta Flow's are black. You can go to FM's website to compare.

Redid the exhaust today...added on some Thrush Turbo Mufflers to my prochamber...cats are coming off soon. It's a bit quiet for my taste but i love the no pop tone and smooth sound. can't wait to hear it catless

Sounds good a little to quite for my taste but I like the sound. Post a video with no cats once you do that

Didnt you plan on removing the cats at some point? You wont regret it. Remove em and your setup will sound mean! Little louder too. I'm finally happy with mine after changing it four times. Catless prochamber FTW!

Ill try and get a video of mine soon. Similar setup. O/R prochamber, 2 1/2" tubing and flowmaster 10's.

Slo, do you have any close up pictures of the cut outs?

Not too bad, you did that right? Do you plan on doing the gt rear at some point? I personally really like the inward slant on the cut outs of the gt rear.

The best ive seen is the 03-04 cobra bumper. Very sexy. Just quite difficult to find one without the "cobra" embossed in it, and expensive. I will put on on the gt when I buy it as part of that project.

After watching this video I almost didn't upload it. I really need to find a way to more accurately catch a sound because it sounds completely different in this video. Recorded with my Galaxy S3.

It's on my extensive overhaul list. Since it's just an annoyance for now it's a lower priority.

Because the previous owner let it run too low on fluid most likely.

although i don't want to sidetrack this sticky...the power steering issue is normal with 99-04 mustangs. even replacing the pump may not fix the issue it's pretty much hit or miss. usually just a flush of the system and new trans fluid will help though.
