No, but I know that the SLP mufflers would sound sick! Unique too!

Does anyone have exhaust cut off after the cats, and then divorced duals ran to magnaflow mufflers? And if possible, dumped at the axle.

I'm gonna either put Super 40's or Super 44's on a catted x-pipe. Which is going to get me a deeper, more rumbling sound?

So this time I'm posting in the right thread.. Haha. But like I said I'm installing true duals along with my slp lm1's. how much louder will it be compared to my previous (I'm pretty sure) catted flow 40 setup?

I think the first thing you should do today is get some mufflers on it. Straight piped sixxers have the worst exhaust sound second only to a straight piped 1987 honda civic.

If you want it all raspy like that. Remove the cats, install an x pipe, and go with some slp loud mouths.

If you want more of a muscle sound. Off-road long tubes, prochamber, and flowmaster 10's.

You asked for an opinion, and I gave you one. Glad your happy with how it sounds, in the end that's all that really matters.

....but if you think that sounds good, then either of the setups I posted will blow your mind.

i ran no mufflers and i enjoyed it a lot ...i like your 10's but most of the sound is from you not having cats. there's a local sixxer with cats and flow 10's and it doesn't sound nearly as good. now granted i do prefer the refined tone of something with a muffler to it which is why i couldn't pass up on my borlas, but for what it is a straight piped v6 sounds pretty decent. especially at a red light idling

where do you get a pro chamber for a v6? and also what would the sound difference between an O/R x and an O/R pro chamber?

they only make Pro Chambers for GT, but you can have it easily converted for a v6. as for sound difference...o/r x will be super loud all the time and raspy..and an o/r prochamber will be low and rumbly at idle and cruise but scream at WOT

one other question. Whats going to be the difference in flowmaster 40 and 44? And is there anyway to order the set up i told you with the 44s instead of 40s? or would i have to order both and just change them out?

44's are quieter but deeper then 40s....and you can buy flowmasters at any autoparts store so it shouldn't be an issue finding what you want

I called MAC directly. There was a guy there who specializes on V6 parts. Essentially, I purchased a GT ProChamber. Welded it in place after LT headers and hi-flow cats.
