So I'm wanting to get an offload Mac prochamber with flow 10s. However I had a friend advise me away from this setup because he said I won't be able to hear my radio or even talk normally inside the car. Would this setup be too loud?

no not at all...the prochamber will be sure that when you're just cruising it keeps the sound down...just when you get on it will it scream

going to start getting quotes to install my mac prochamber and flow 10s. Just so i know im not being over priced what is a good estimate of what this should be costing purely for the install?

I have an o/r prochamber and Flowmaster super 44s, they sound really good. I can definetly hear it when driving around, I only have to raise my voice a little bit when talking in the car... So 10s will be louder than that, I also have 2 more cylinders and more displacement than you so it's a little different... Same concept though.

Install is usually about 80 an hour at y local shops. It will probably cost you 150-200 bucks

That's because of the headers though. Buch harder to install than just cutting and welding

I would suggest against the pacesetters on the 3.8, the peel quick and start to look like poo. Much lower quality. You'll be much happier with the ceramic coated Mac long tubes. Also look into a mac prochamber to pair with it and some flowmaster 10's instead of the 40's. You will be 100 times happier with the results.

Oh yeah, itll sound great. You'll notice the guys on here that have one, or have heard it in person will choose it over any mid pipe every time. Including myself. Listen to my videos in the exhaust sticky, and that's without long tubes which would only make it sound even better. It really is a setup you have to hear in person. Nothing I've seen on YouTube, including my own videos sounds like the cars do in person and under load.

Will the MAC Off-road Pro Chamber Mid-Pipe from AM fit with the LT headers they have for the v6. Because it says that the pro chamber is for the v8

Gotcha. So pretty much I'm going to have it weld it instead of bolting it on.

I tried straight piping my 94 when I had it. A straight piped v6 mustang is a disgusting, horrible sound. And that was with all four cats! Removing any would make it much, much worse. All around a bad idea unless you only plan to drive it around on a farm.

That sounds a lot like mine. Might want to look into divorced duals with magnapacks. I have mine dumped but that's cause it's cheaper and louder inside

I do not. But if I get the chance, I will try to tomorrow. Is there anything you'd like me to do in it, besides revving? Cold start or hot start?

I need. Some help! Got my Mac prochamber a while ago and the flow 10s and I finally have the time and money to get them installed. Called around a little and it looks like there isn't a place that will install an off road mid pipe. Is there anyway around this? Fast replies would be much appreciated!

You can get 2 hi-flow cats for under $100.00 shipped on e-bay "Thunderbolt" catalytic converters.
-I am doing exact same mod. I purchased 2 Motorcraft primary CO2 sensors, CO 2 sensor extensions, 2 secondary CO2 sensors and a set of MIL's just in case, along with the 2 "Thunderbolt" cats.
-The cats are 11" long. They will fit within the straight piece of pipe on the Prochamber, each side.
Although, I am using one chamber SpinTech 9000 mufflers.
