What is the best exhaust set up you guys have heard... What components did it have and how much did it cost to get all the pieces... Sound clips welcome

Catless flowmaster 40 divorced dual exhaust. sounds like a gt. $400 total for install as well

i checked your local CL...less then 2 hour drive only exhaust i found on there

Mustang Dual Exhaust 1987

if the cats are good you could even turn them around for cash...he didn't list a price but looking at it i'd say $125 is a good offer on it...just an idea lol

but basically always check CL and other local sale sites

the best piece of advice i got years ago was "don't try to sound like something you're not...just make your car sound like a BA v6"....using that idea i've tried different setups to find what i like to hear...nowhere near what my GT sounded like but i don't mind at all

yeah a cam would be a nice upgrade, but it may be more work then he's wanting to do.

it sounds pretty nice. it gets mistaken for a GT quite a bit.

Yep, anybody who knows very little about cars can make that mistake, but a gear head will not confuse the two. There is a very distinct difference between the two that I have know problem pickong up on. Especially the unique sound of a v8 mustang.
