Awkward question

Does anyone an easy way to remove the rubber exhaust hangers from a 97 mustang?

i use a claw hammer to pry up and off the metal piece

usually stock they pop off somewhat easy, but mine are a nightmare with the fatter ends on my aftarmarket exhaust.

Ok I got the hangers off but ran into another problem I can't get the exhaust past the axle

Yeah i always have to cut the pipe off right where it would connect to an aftermarket muffler to get the pipe out

Disconnecting the shocks should drop your axel a few more inches. Maybe that'll give you the clearance needed to get them out. Or you could take it to a shop and have them put it on a lift.

I used WD40... if it's getting the hanger out of the Rubber.

Yea the WD40 worked the best and I think I might try the shock idea it only needs to clear by one more inch

WD40 those shock bolts before you try to break them loose. I've stripped some out in the past.
