There is a lot that goes in to a turbo build you need to consider the year and mileage of your motor unless you have been the only owner and you know you kept your motor in pristine condition all this time I IMHO would not go on stock internals especially as a DD
But just my .02

+1, dds shouldn't be turboed unless it comes like that stock. Too much time and money needs to be put in to do it. Best bet is to get a junk yard engine and completely rebuild it for a turbo application. That way you have your dd untouched and a performance engine in your garage ready to drop right in.
Plenty of DD TT cars on the road that were not factory.. Your car, engine driveline etc all need to be in good shape and running right. Buy a complete kit and have it installed and tuned Professionally by a reputable and dependable shop.. Be prepared to spend major cash. If you can't afford to to it right the first time you can't afford to do it twice.
