this is awsome. i deff want one. will u be building a 9 psi kit? will u sell the fuel stuff with the kits? and how hard will install to be?o an how high will i have to be in the rpms before I hit boost (if u kno yet) ? thanks for all the info possible.

edit:i forgot the most important question, will it pass emissions? or can u tune it to pass emissions?

yes, the starter kit will be 9psi nonintercooled. beingthat roots blowers run very hot, i'd recommend the intercooler upgrade. it'll lower psi by a pound or two but increase power. no costs have been finalized. yes, everything including fuel and a chip will be included. it'll most definitely pass emissions with the chip that will be included. it is basically taking the blower off of the old supercoupe thunderbrids and putting htem on our stangs. full boost will be available from 1,400-1,500rpms up. centrifugals (ie vortech, procharger) push full boost at 3,100-3,200rpms. also, the roots will add more tq than hp and make the average daily driver more enjoyable. they are called positive displacement blowers because they mimic as if the motor gain cubic inches instead of just getting top end power like the centrifugals.

and as an update, i'm still waitingon the cusotm intake ot arrive. i'll answer questionsbetter later if you have any.

fyi, a stock 94-98 singleport motor with roots blower just dynoed 288rwhp but the dyno cut off early. it was 10rwhp short of a similar graph for another built 3.8 with blower that topped out at 340rwhp at 5,200rpms. basically, with 14psi (NOT SAFE FOR STOCK MOTOR, 11psi is MAX) it made 330rwhp. not sure of the tq cause the tq line is fuzzy for some reason. i'll try to find it. 300rwhp is about what it would have run if it was in a safe 11-12psi range. good news for us for sure.

We working on a deal with a shop here in florida for installs. If you plan on doing it yourself the install shouldnt be too difficult, we will do a writeup of how to do the install and post it on our website, as well as send you instructions with the kit.

another question. is this blower being designed with a slipping belt so that if i get some detination it will slip and lower the damage? and how much will the intercoolers cost approx, will they be over 500? thanks
mike

o p.s. what do u think i could pull power wise with a split port w/a 11 or 9 psi intercooled system( the real question is here is) is 300rwhp posslible on a daily driver?

Tire-I am waiting for your kit to come out so I can see the power this kit will make! I will be a buyer but will have to wait a while for financial perpouses. My question is I saw the whole kit(upper, lower, blower, pluming, belt and intercooler)off a 89? supercoupe on ebay for $600. Will I be able to use the supercoupe intercooler? Is it any good?

232stang-He is selling a kit that will allow you to take a Supercoupe blower and bolt them on the 94-2003 Mustangs. It is very cheep for the power it makes and boost can be adjusted by change of a pulley.

/taps fingers get it yet

get it yet

yet

yet???

Patience is rough. I bought the complete SC kit from ebay if you've read my other post. I got the 30# injectors, fuel rail, sc, innercooler, throttlebody, 75mm mass air sensor. Can I use any of this stuff besides the sc? I have the cash now and would be willing to be a guinea pig. (wife might not tho) As I still owe 9k on the car, but oh well we only live once. Are we going to have to sacrifice the ac unit for this mod? It gets warm in Ohio during the summer. ;-p

Thanks for all your hard work and effort. I wish, as many out there, that I could help more. I hope all goes well!! For all our sakes.

Here is a question. Would this blower be able to work with the 4.2L conversion everyone is doing?

4.2 L is a new crank and rods so the heads and intakes will be the same, so the roots blower should still work
