Mine is not a convertible but I have those, and it is plugged in, thinking its the abs sensor power.. Does your car have abs? I'll trace the wire when I get home and see

If im correct, it should be for if your car has a mach 460 sound system. Theres a second set of speakers above the lower 2 in the back seating area that those supply power to.

The wiring harness for both stock and mach 460 equipped cars. The mach cars use those plugs, while the stock cars just leave it unplugged

You could possibly find a wrecked car with a mach setup and transfer the amp and speakers over

It's ABS sensor plug, if you pull up the "carpet" in that area and the other side you will find a rubber grommet going through the floor pan.
Non Mach cars have 0 of the wiring necessary, trust me, I've put a 460 system in a non-equipped car, was not fun.

No, it's more than just a plug, ecu has to have the abs system programmed in. Not to mention the brake lines are slightly different.
This is simply a sensor that connects to the rear axle to check for any slippage, works in tandem with traction control if I remember correctly.
