I'm not even gonna worry about the 10 we disagree on about the stock v6 but you're saying the gap is 150 v6 to 240 v8 that's a 90 hp gap more realistically the stock gap is 160 v6 to 225 v8 that's only 65... Big difference
Btw ive owned both an 04 4.6 and an 04 3.9 with the same mods and run on the same track...i can promise the power difference quite large.

By beat I just meant we were messing around haha not like serious or anything it wasn't meant to be taken literal, but I respect your opinion and I would def. agree that protecting everyone's interests is the best thing to do I wouldn't want anyone to expect unreal gains... But I would never say do it for the power just do it for the enjoyment and the fun or else you won't be satisfied anyway

---------- Post added at 01:24 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:22 AM ----------

Yes same mods I'm saying running against a bone stock 4.6 ha but whatever man I would rather you be right

lmmfao... i only know a few 3.8 cars in the low 15's you will not break 14's with a stock motor and no drastic other mods.. built rear end with suspension work and sticky tires launching at 5K with a manual trans you could probably get a 14.8-14.9

no ***** nitrous isn't a bolt on, it's more of a power adder

I knew nothing about the set up... I had a buddy who was like my uncle who had been a mechanic for over 15 years set everything up for me he told me the whole thing and I wrote it down with my times on my computer... I'd be happy to send that as well tomorrow

---------- Post added at 02:02 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:58 AM ----------

Pretty sure it was wet cuz he said that was better and then I think he was electric... I think it was hooked to a nitrous solenoid which was like the switch or whatever as I said he set it all up

No thanks not interested... im not playing anymore because its annoying when you get called out on your claims you add something.. then when that's called out you add something else. You're telling me you ran nitrous but have no clue how the bottle was opened? Come on man you couldn't even tell me the shot or injection method. I would never trust my car or life to a system i didnt have any clue on how it worked.

Well he helped me buy the car so of course I trusted him... I just didn't want to misinform you or misrepresent something so you could try to bash it that's why... I knew about it at the time but I couldn't remember exactly now and I didn't want to say something that I wasn't sure about but whatever man

To the original point...

The only advantage to a handheld tuner over a multibank is the ability to download new tunes easily. I ran a multibank chip for years in my old v6 before handhelds became popular

Yupp. Saving a few hundred bucks is the alternative though.

Yep very true if you have already got most all your bolt ons then the chip isn't that bad since you likely won't have to take it out but if you are just starting to mod and plan to a lot more even though it is more expensive the handheld is the easier alternative

Truth, even with comparable HP to an 8, this is the difference.
