Help!!!! Transmission problem!

Can't get into any of the top gears. (1,3,5) idk what's going on I was driving and then got onto the highway. Got into 5th and then slowed down cause traffic then go back into fifth and it wouldn't let me. So I stayed in 4th the way back home and then started slowing down more and came to a light. So then I tried going and it would go then pop out of first. So I had to start in second instead of first. Then as I accelerated I switched to third and it wouldn't go in.. Has anyone ever had this problem?
