gas pedal

Hey guys. My acceleration pedal is almost touching the floor. When i am driving it touches the ground. Do i need to adjust the cable that is holding it or replace it?

Cables do stretch over time, or it could have gotten loose. Or it could be something completely else.

99-04 have so much slack in the pedals..buy a 1" nylon spacer and some clamps...then add the spacer in above the pedal on the throttle cable...itll pick up the pedal. Youll need to unhook the throttle cable at thr TB to make this easy...just google 99-04 mustang throttle cable mod....should find a write up there...of that doesnt help id say you need a new cable
