Starts fine but refuses to idle

03 with 70K miles/5-speed. Drive it everyday but needed to go to the store and it will start fine but simply will not idle. Your thoughts? Thanks!

Thats odd. Just went out and tried starting it again and it idles perfectly. The only thing is the car was parked for several hours at the very end of my driveway which slopes down and I backed in so the front end was sloping quite a bit for most of the day. Could that have been the problem?

Try cleaning your MAF sensor with MAF cleaner.

Your Idle air control valve could also be stuck closed/open. Could just need a cleaning or needs replaced. It's right on your throttle body and is about the size of a salt shaker.

The gas could have all drained away from your pickup and it wasn't getting enough to keep it running. That's happend to a few people I know in other cars.

Check your throttle cable. Make sure it isn't broken or anything
