Morning Sickness

My car has morning sickness it seems like, some days it runs like a champ, other days it runs like total crap. This morning it was shaking, and sounded like a sack of crud.

That could be a number of things. Does it sound like it is chocking out and not getting fuel, or does it sound like it is missing? Does it seem to go by what temperature it is outside? So it runs bad when it is cold and good when it is hot type of thing?

It seems to run bad when it rains, it's really cold, and some random mornings. As I said yesterday it ran good

Maybe she's pregnant? Nah but mine does that too. It could be the cold. With my CAI it's idling rougher when I start it I the mornings.

Honestly I haven't got a clue what would be wrong, but if mine did that I would start going along and make sure that the motor is getting fuel, then make sure it is getting spark, then make sure that it is getting air. All it takes is fuel air and ignition for it to run, but it is the variables of those that dictate how good it runs.

When's the last time it had a tune-up? Have you cleaned the throttle body, MAF or Idle Air Control Valve in awhile? I'd go the cheaper route and clean all the stuff I mentioned first and if that doesn't do it give it a tune up. I'd also maybe change the fuel filter. Easy fix and it's cheap.

try that. just be careful when taking it out and also the screws holding it in are kind of a pain so be careful not to strip them. I like your hood decals btw lol

Use a q tip and very very gently clean it with electronic spray cleaner. Auto zone sells it.
