all v6's will have a front sway bar...but not a rear sway (well i think 94-95 v6's may have also had a rear factory but im not 100%)....so one of the first things a v6 guy should do is buy a rear sway. the cheapest way is off of a GT...or you can buy a larger aftermarket unit. the difference is noticeable the first time you hit a corner hard

and of course through the years sway bars changed...some models had solid units, some hollow..some thicker then others as well

110% if you don't wanna buy an aftermarket look for a used GT one...you can find them in the $20-30 range in most cases

Yep, pulled mine from a gt at my local salvage yard for 20 bucks. Sanded it aand hit it with some red caliper paint and popped in on.

Mine has both front and rear sway bars.

You would want to look for 94-98 sway bars. MAYBE the 99-04 sway bars.

I think they help stiffen up the suspension.

Any 94-04 sway bar will fit...as for what it does it stabalizes the car in corners.

my mustang does handle pretty good, even with my ****ty suspension(When i had my WIDE tires on they would rub, and it rubsgoing over speed bumps and drags the front bumper with steep driveways.) I can't afford new suspension though...

you wont have one stock so just go to a pull a part junk yard, find a GT of your same year set 94-98 or perhaps even 99-04 fit not 100% sure on that) and yank it off and install it, there wont be a huge difference so dont spend a ton on it.
