Side mirrors

How come my side mirrors dont work?!?! They havnt worked since i bought the car... Could it be a fuse?! Would the fuse be in the engine compartment?!? Could the switch be bad?!?! Where do i get another swith?!?! Could the mirror motor them selves be bad?!

woah calm down good buddy lol....lets take it from the top

pop the door panel off and see first if the mirrors are even plugged in...

The wires are hooked up to the switch but theres a plug back there thats not hooked up to anything

yeah that's the harness that plugs to the mirrors..mine weren't hooked up in my last stang because the mirrors weren't oem...had to take the panel off to plug them in to the new mirrors i got at the time

So does that plug come up and where does it plug into?! Do i have to take the door panel off

yes panel will have to come off...then the cover over the mirror bolts will come off...behind that panel is the mirror harness. connect it to the switch harness and see if they work. if not there may be a reason why they are unhooked. if they still dont work then it's time to take a test light to the switch and see if it's losing fire there

Ok ill try that this weekend... Thanks. Is it hard to get the door panel off
