I always considered SuperSixMotorsports to be the place to go for 3.8 performance mods.

if you are going to go through the trouble for the cam you really should do heads/intakes at the same time, overall you wont get huge power nor amazing sound but it will help.

If its a single port 3.8 then you may want to look at going to dual port for 99+ but the ported/polished single port makes good numbers.... you can also stroke it to a 4.2L (F150 parts)

Tom Morana motor sports also makes good 3.8 products you should take a look at incuding stroker kits and other internals.
03 v6- black 17' 03 Cobra R deep dish wheels, AM short shifter, divorced duals with original 40's, windstar swap, and a tuner!

re cam

I have a crower cam that I order from crower themselves with springs and retainers....big difference plus it was a great price.
