4.2 rebuild

Just got the 2002 4.2 today and I'm curious on how to prepare it for a turbo. I wanna get the ssx stage 3 power package with ported heads, upper/lower intakes and a stage 3 cam... But will that coincide with a turbo setup?? Also what sized fuel rail/ injectors would be ideal for a 15-20lb of boost setup?

I would imagine so... Heads and intake is only porting and polishing and the cam just look in the website and figure out what cam fits your build

The ported uppers and lowers and heads will be fine, and if you look on their website they have a chart that suggests what to get. Also, if you call them you can tell them what you want to do with it and what you want the cam to do and the will grind you a custom one.

Your gonna need forged internals if you plan to run 15-20 psi

you will also want a lower compression with that amount of boost, unless you plan to run higher octane that 93

I'd say no higher than 9, maybe 9.5
