i used an adjustable (or channel locks) to loosen it up (and past any tough parts). once its loosened its comes out decently easy

That think was a pain to get out for me. Used a load of WD40 a big a$$ wrench, and my body weight to get it off haha

Broke mine so decided to delete it. The pipe must have broke when I use to was the engine. Or maybe on those bad rainy days the water must have splashed up there but anyways it wasn't hard to brake so it must have been cracked to dramatic temperature change bc it broke like nothing.

That pipe was clogged with black carbon

Emissions is crap! Idc what those environmental idiots say. The guys who made this whole emissions I think that they made it to make sure your car craps out keeping you buying new ones. Feel free to shoot down that opinion I'd love to be persuaded other wise.

personally i think the EGR system is the reason our intakes get so crappy and full of carbon deposits and etc. One thing is for sure. once i clean out my intake, if my engine runs better i'm getting rid of that piece of **** EGR system, lol

Yea, whenever I go to do it I'm going to send the information over to Bama for them to put it into the tune before I actually do it. That way I can start it up and never get the CEL

I'd love to delete it but here in Cali we got those stupid emissions

---------- Post added at 01:31 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:30 AM ----------

Well looks like the passenger side is cracked as well
Does the manifold come out from the top or bottom?
