Plasti dip whole car

I know people have done it... But has anybody on here done it with just cans no gun? I don't have time to do the whole car at once so I'm Doing it piece by piece so it don't bother me much to do it with the cans... Just wondering about how many cans it might take..

I estimate about 40+ you have to do at least 3-4 coats so it can last

Eh idk I used 2 cans for my old rims. As still had a little left over.. So you'll probably only need about 25-30 cans at the most

Yea a guy that has a shop in jersey told me prolly bout 20 but I seem a thread with a guy doin it with the cans I just can't find it anymore... Or even know if he went through with it... It would cost me bout 1400 for a new paint job I can't afford that right now so plasti dip is a cheaper way out and iv seen some cars doin that really look good

The best way to do that is get it car wrapped and u still get to have the color of ur car .... I work a graphic design company and those are way better ima get my mustang wrapped amd leave the grabber blue stripes which will be the color of my car ..

Heard that's like 2000. That's my spoiler I don't think it's to bad just have to touch up one end... Did like 4 coats waited ten minutes everytime... Used almost a full can when I shouldn't have... And it's kinda cold here like 40 something but that didn't really affect it that I could see... First time doing it I like it

Not my GT, but it took 8 or 9 cans to do my Grand Marquis, which is surely bigger than a Stang. Looks pretty good I think

Taped off all the lights, and the edges of the windows, probably 5 to 7 coats. You should tape off your Mustang better, take a little more time with nice even coats, but since this was my DD I wasnt too concerned about perfection. The overspray on the windows comes off real easy w a sraight razor blade, or even rubbing your fingers over the glass.

Your got 5-7 coats with only 8-9 cans. That's awesome!
