Would this 98-04 bumper fit on my 96 v6?

Thats a 99-04 gt rear. It wont fit any 94-98 by a long shot.

it takes more work then you'll want to spend to make it fit..i've seen them done but in all honestly it's not too good looking on that body

Oh it just I have dual exhaust and I thought it'll look better with the cut outs

on your car it looks good just having tips sit under the bumper...if you like the cutout look try to find a saleen rear

I can't remember the exact site but I've seen a rear lip for the 94-98 that had dual cutouts. didnt look bad but I totally agree with slo, a subtle set of tips sticking out from under the rear bumper looks good.
