MAC Longtubes....

Whats up?! I have an 01 V6 with a turd ton of mods, can list them you'd like. But to straight to the point.

I have a set of BBK shortie headers on the car right now, cats cut, h pipe, with a pair of stock mufflers. This set up works well as it is. But am curious as to what kind of power gains I'd see by going to a set of MAC longtubes? The cars Supercharged, idk if that helps with everyone's thought process or not.

anywho, look forward to hearing from you guys.

well shorty headers dont do anything for ya, the stockers are just as good. the longtubes will gain some power (i'd say 10ish rwhp) and will sound better.

Around a 10 hp gain. What happens here is because you're increasing the efficiency flow of the exhaust gases from the engine you will loose air pressure but gain more power. Essentially, you're loosing boost but gaining power which is good!

I think there is a set of longtubes on ebay right now for pretty cheap that are used. Might save you a few bucks!
