That's something I didn't even think to suggest, they're really easy to get switched around on these motors man!

That confused me, aren't the coil packs sideways in these cars? Or are they lengthwise in the new edges?

Also, that has a 5.0 firing order lol

Lol. I just did wires on mine, I didn't follow a manual, just replaced each wire 1 at a time, I thought looking at it the right front was the #1 cylinder and the bottom left on the coil pack was for #1..

I don't remember though, I haven't been under my hood since I put an aftermarket hood on, had to manhandle it to get the main latch to work.. lol

And the coil pack on mines on the passenger front of engine, that's probably where I got confused, mines a sn95, that's prolly for a new edge.

Not yet, I need to hook up my IAC then get her off the jack stands. I'll still need some headlights before she's street legal.

Hey I plugged in my IAC and the engine idles at about 600 then it eventually dies. Indication that my IAC is broken?

That has to be it, it's probably got so much carbon built up in it that it's no good anymore. You can try cleaning it with intake or carb cleaner just make sure you don't get any in the sensor, keep the valve end pointed down. If this does not fix it you could try getting a new one but clean the old one first and see what happens.

sounds like a bad IAC, might as well check your MAF while you're cleaning things too. I just cleaned the MAF on my 95 today and it made a hugggee difference, it was bogging down at idle and sounded like it was missing.. cleaned it and a couple other things and now its better.

That's about right, mines a 5 speed as well and idles around 8-900 depending on the temp. When you start it up, do the rpms surge up right when it starts and then go down to the idle speed? If not your temp sensor may be causing some of the issue. its supposed to rev right at startup and then drop down, the colder it is, the longer it'll take to drop down

My horns physically not there. So I assume that's the problem. Fixed the exhaust just now so it's my last problem.

Congrats man, she's looking good.

I've got a set of 2 piece headlights with clear corners I'm going to be selling or trading for a set of either stocks or 1 pieces. I don't really like having aftermarket lights on my car..
