Painting brake calipers

I want to paint my brake calipers but have no idea what color to paint them I have a mineral grey stang and plant to get black and chrome fr500s or bullitts

I was thinking more along the lines of red or black, leaning more so towards red but I'm scared that the color of the car and the red will conflict

Idk I you can see it but it looks good and a cheep way to add a nice touch

Easy just cover your disk and any outer place were you don't wanna get over spray
Also sand the caliper down a little not to much just enough to get some brake dust off so the paint sticks well.

Not at all red looks good on gray stangs, if your stang was blue then yea it would look funny but I say go for it and post pics once your done

just go for it...super easy and looks good. i used just engine enamel so i could have a nice deep blue for mine

my only reasoning behind not liking black is that it just makes your brakes look bleh...i had mine black for a while then went with some color...of course it's all personal preference

I have the darker shade, dark shadow grey (cx). The red looks good on mine, but when I put the hawk rotors and pads and repainting them neon green. I saw one the other day and it looks great on the silver/grey/black mustangs.
