ZEX

Just bought a Zex wet shot kit. I will be doing a 75 shoot. What type of spark plug should I be using? Also heard that its also a good idea to have a fuel pressure gauge. Anyone have any tips or advices?

Is your engine stock or built? Nitrous isn't meant for a stock engine, it will just eat up your internals and you will see metal shavings in your oil every time you change it. It's meant for drag cars, engines that can be rebuilt within minutes not days. This is why I don't see why people use nitrous on their street cars? If you really are serious about this I would go with a smaller shot to be on the more safe side if you want your engine to last longer.

What size do you recommend? I won't be spraying on the street just when I go to the track I don't go that often.

Well I saw a 3.8 new edge at the track a couple years ago with a 75 shot and the engine blew in one run...

I heard their is a 35 shot, its the lowest shot you can get I think. I think it's been called the cheaters shot too because its not hard on the engine or something like that.

A wet 50 shot every once and awhile wont cause you any problems. I live about 20 minutes from the jackson strip, and have lot of friends and family that run street, and drag cars. Most of the guys are running 50-75 on their daily drivers with 3-4 trips to the strip a month with no issues.

Ive not heard of a 35 shot, but if there is, it would pretty much be a big waste of money....

So what's your opinion? If you had a chances to do a shot what would it be?

Lmfao... My friend mike is running a 150 zex shot on his stock bottom end car with heads/cam/intakes and hasn't had a problem yet, it'll only hurt something if you F up

One step colder plugs and run a 75 shot at least, remember zex rates theirs at the motor not the wheels like everyone else, so 75 is really a 50 shot on the wheels

That one will work for the V6 too, wet or dry nitrous is all the same really. You can use it on any engine.

Well their is a difference with wet and dry nitrous but you get the idea lol.

Go with a wet shot, safer and less likely to detonate and blow your hood off!
