Thanks I'm on my way to buy some paint and paint some of the interior. Should I do white with my interior? Or what color should I do? It's the middle console that I'm painting for now

I think the white would look sharp, but I'm also thinking that the red would look good. Hmmmm

You guys inspired me to paint my interior black! Now let me get this straight, correct me if I'm wrong.

Dupli-color: vinyl and fabric (for the vinyl)
Rustileom - for the plastic

Do it Man. Its Not that expensive at all. And when you do it Right, it looks great! I'm using the rustolium for my whites it looks and sprays great so I would recommend it. I'm using krylon fusion for my plastics and wish I didn't.

Thanks. I'm either gonna dye them like my rear, put seat covers on, or buy new ones down the road.. I just don't know if I can dye em since they're torn.. I may do it anyways and if it doesn't come out good just throw the covers on

Ok. I'm so glad that I have time to do it whenever... Lol. Tomorrow morning I'm going to do my vents, and the trim around the gauge cluster. After that, and my door panel. And a little touch up here and there, she'll be finished

I just turned 17, the license age in jersey. But it was roughly $80-$100ish. Somewhere along them lines

Not.at.all. Haha. I live in south jersey so it's either you buy a sporty car, or a lifted truck to go mudding in. But as of now, no. I didn't clear it either. If you do do it, just do realllllly light coats and you'll be good. And clear it for extra protection

So you don't gel your hair or anything like that? Haha.

Well I think I got most of what you did:
Dupli color vinyl and fabric,

Krylon fusion, later said you wish you wouldn't have used this? Why not?

(This is for the plastic like the console?) Wash them with a grey or green scotchbrite(I actually used a 10 pack of dollar store coarse pads lol), dry it off, spray adhesion promoter (I used duplicolor I believe. I'll confirm later) do about 2-3 coats and allow 2-4 minutes between coats, than use the rustolium or whatever paint you prefer in light coats.

You also said you don't like it shiny. But if it'll last longer being shiny I would like to do that. Do you have a certain clear or matte you prefer?

Oh and thank you for any help!

The rustolium is holding up amazing. The white looks as good as the first day I put it on. However, due to me not clear coating the krylon fusion, it's got scuffs like a MF. It's irritating as hell to see, and IMPOSSIBLE to clean. You can't clean it with anything because the cloth will leave behind lint and such. If I would have clear coated, non of this would have happened
