Any exhaust ideas?

Currently on my v6, i have the factory y-pipe with a magnaflow dual exhaust conversion. The car has the california emission package, i believe that the car has 4 cats. I was thinking about making the car louder, without changing the exhaust too much since i spent $600 on a dual conversion. I also have 2 Slp resonators. Does anyone have any ideas on making the car louder or sound like a v8? Should i remove 1 cat, how would that sound? Replace the cats with resonators? Any imput is appreciated

Getting rid of the y pipe should be your first step. You wont get the volume, or tone you are looking for with that.

Check the exhaust sticky. Then go buy a mac prochamber. Then you can sit around and wonder why it took you soo long to get one! Go with an O/R Mac prochamber, and flowmaster 10's and you will be happy, very happy.

For volume you will have to have the cats removed. But have a shop weld flanges on your new setup so you can swap it out to the catted setup for emissions testing.

Everything Exhaust & Clips

in the end exhaust is just personal preference...not about what others like but what you OP like. check out the many sounds of the v6 world and consider each
