Are those red painted looking threads supposed to be shower? I'm not sure what it exactly is.. But it's right under the fuel rail on the drivers side. And has a plug on top..
Also sounds like air is seeping out somewhere in that area as well..

It's a sensor of some type. The red looks like some kind of anti seize or Teflon. Hell, it could be gasket maker. Some idiots use that to make boogered up threads seal better.

Hmm okay.-. Hopefully it's nothing serious. It's not throwing any codes other than my EGR

I can not see it well but it looks like the coolant temperature sensor.
