all i've heard is that it doesnt do anything unless you are already making decent power

It not really worth it. If you had the full list of the normal v6 mods, windstar intake, and some heads it would be worth it.

It in itself will not give you any power gains.

I bought mine some years ago in the newb phase, didn't make a difference just had a nice pedal feel and looked good, couldn't ever sell it so I just used it

It did help get the damn coupling for the CAI on smoothly than fighting an stretching it.

I put it on with a CAI. Hellos with throttle response and acceleration. I feel like the car breathes much better.
