Possible short?

I have looked all over and can't seem to find anyone that has this problem...
A few times now, while I am driving, the car will start shaking and losing power as if it is about to stall but then everything is fine and it stops a minute later.
One thing I have noticed is that every time it has done this, the odometer will go blank and then come back on so dim and the numbers will be missing parts in the middle so you can barely make out what is says.
As soon as the shaking stops, the odometer is fine again.
The radio lights don't dim...I find this all so weird.
Every couple months, my driver side window will get stuck closed, but that corrects itself the same day (Keep in mind this doesn't happen when the car shakes, just at random).
I'm starting to think I might have a short?
It's driving me nuts!
Thanks in advance, guys.

Get your battery and alternator tested. It could be a short as well. On my 02 my odometer goes out as well but I just tap it a bit and it comes back on
