Push rod guides

Has anyone installed these in their motor before? Would you recommend them? Thanks.

Pushrods guide plates are only needed when swapping to roller rockers instead of pedestal mount like factory

Ok thanks. I am installing roller rockers. Where would you recommend getting the guides? I see that Tom morana racing has the but it says it requires screw in studs. And I don't have them.

All guide plates require screw in studs, you'll have to buy them, look on comp cams website they sell the arp rocker studs

This is what I bought from Jegs. Remember you need to have the heads pedestal mount shaved to align the proper roller geometry. So the heads need to be removed.
397-m-6529-a302 rocker pedestal arm shims
249-4835-8 guide plate adjusters 5/16
249-4502-16 rocker stud 3/8 magnum rocker arms 1.7 3/8 ultra pro magnum
4602-16 polly locks
the polly locks need to be shaved because they are too long. The ones that come with the rocker arms are too short.
249-7635-12 5/16 magnum pushrods 7.15
It is easier to go with Super Six.
