4.2 stroker. They look nice. The rear one isn't my cup of tea and I think you should take the tri-bar and pony off and just leave the 4.2. But that's just my taste. If you like it, keep it

Agreed ditch the tri bar. It'd look way cleaner

And don't care for the deck lid. That's just me though. Looks better on a new edge when they are on the deck kid

If I remember, it was 40-60 more hp than stock. I cups be wrong. And it also depends on whether you went split port or kept the single port setup. In his case, he stayed with the single port

So how much would it be with the slip port swap also? I though that itself adds 35-50hp o.o

The split port swap adds 40hp to our 150, but that is to the crank. It also varies wither you have the windstar upper intake or not, its much lighter and has better airflow. With the swap, dual exhaust, and the windstar you would have an estimated 185-190rwhp

I don't see how adding that will get you 40hp more at the crank and then few new bolt ons getting you 190 at wheels. If you get 190 at the crank with adding the stroker then more mods shouldn't be at 190rWhp. But I don't know anything about this swap. So I guess I could be wrong.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doing the split port swap on a single port is just like adding another mouth to your engine haha. I have spit port on my new edges and I've never driven an sn95 so I can't tell you the power difference. Stock, the sn95 gets around 140-145 stroking it gets you at around 170-180 if I remember correctly. If you go spit port you can add the windstar upper intake which will help out tremendously. And also intake and exhaust. All that could get you a buttload more power compared to the completely stock motor. I've never done any of these mods, just researched them so don't take my word for it

Well still if you haw 190 at crank that and sdd more parts to get you to say 230 at the crank and that's probably over estimating it but that is only 180 at wheels. But idk

But after the 4.2 stroke and windstar intake, there is pretty much nothing else you can do other than going with FI and nitrous

Edit: power wise

It only takes 5-10hp to spin the flywheel/drive shaft so I wouldn't think at 220hp it would drop to 180-185 to the wheels...

4.2 bottom end adds max of 5hp and about 15tq at crank it's not that big of a difference.. Unless you spent the money and went forged with high compression then it adds more

just an FYI you lose .2 compression 3.8 swapping to 4.2 because of the dish in the pistons the f150 bottom end has

When you change the cubic displacement of a engine, you change the compression. My piston is bored 30 and I have a 9 to 1 compression. The way to up the compression if this is a issue, is to use a dome piston.

It feels like I gained more than 5hp and 15tq, but the last engine was over 160,000 miles.

Also, I was going to remove the tri-bars. Since they are broken. I just don't know how, and I don't want to mess up the paint.

Just get a towel and a scraper and take it off. It's just double sides tape

I thought all the side emblems had pegs/screws that went through the body...

I took the emblems off of my new edge and it had pegs and a hole, but that was just to get good placement.
