Power Steering Pump Whines

Okay after flushing my Power Steering Pump and putting in new Power Steering fluid my Power Steering still whines! Why does it whine still?! And the fact that my Power Steering is black again! I need answers if someone can be kind enough to help here. Lol. Am I looking to buy a new Power Steering Pump?

My old car had that same problem. I had to install a new rack/pinion and pump to finally get it to stop.

How much did you end spending? And do you think that would fix the problem?

Idk man, i just got tired of refilling ps fluid so i just redid the whole set up. It was about $300 but it was an older car too.

It should, i just dont know if you need to do all that.

Try just replacing the pump first, i needed rack and pinion at the time because it kept leaking.

These cars are notorious for powersteering pump whines. IMO if it doesn't affect function, just live with it. I know someone who changed the pump out and still made the exact same whine. Buy a louder exhaust to muffle the noise.

Ahhh well how do you change the coloration of the PS fluid from black to clear. Every time I flushed it and start the car back up sh*t went back to the color black. I want to fix that at least
