Make sure you change the oil frequently with the tlok, I didn't now I use the broken pin and gears as desktop paper weights. Only lasted a year for me .

OP,

I would think you will be in the 14's as well. You should feel a huge difference over the stock gearing while daily driving too. Especially with your Mustang being an auto transmission!

The differential oil should last much longer than a year. Typically the recommended diff oil change is 60,000 miles, and most people don't even do that without experiencing issues.

It sounds like one of two things happened with your differential. Either the new gears didn't have the proper black-lash clearance or the differential oil that was used didn't have a fiction modifier added or included.

Hope this info helps in the future!

Shane

Oh I actually had a differential place build it for me. It dropped a pin. It didn't give any warnings at all, no noises or anything. One day driving to my parents home 35mph on the side streets then BANG!

At any rate I ended up with better hardware a Detroit truetrac nuff said. I'm no angel when it comes to hard launches. But attached is a pic of my new desk trinkets.

Realistically mid 15's, you have a stock (referring to the trans itself) auto trans, you're not going from 16's to 14's because of a gear change...

No you won't come close

BAMA doesn't count as a good tune

You don't even have a stall to come close to what a manual can do

My old bama tune, ran so rich it destroyed my cats in just under two months, when it was on the dyno it had 11.5 AF and only 24* timing advance

N/A motors are suppose to be around 12.8-13 AF (air fuel ratio) and you can put at least 30* timing on 93 octane.. So yes the tune is not near as good as it could be

I'm not trying to be an @$$, just stating the truth
