I'm honestly a big fan of that orange!!!!
when I was in spain, i told myself that I wanted a car that color.
there weren't any mustangs in that color that I was looking at (except the competition orange on the 2012 boss). but let's be honest, that wasn't going to happen
My vote goes to the orange

Don't go orange with all that black. I think the orange would look really good but adding all that black makes it look like you have too much going on, It would just look awkward. Stay blue man. Blue new edges look sweet and if you change, go to the Mach 1 blue or red.

So is your paint bad or good? I'm not following you one bit.

Id remove and have the hole covered with plate and make sure it water tight and flows correctly with the body

keep the sonic blue. it wasn't a highly produced color in the first place. a respray is all you'd need to get it back to show room once your body work is done. in the end though it's your car so go with the color you want and can afford. although remember will your tastes be the same a year from now.

my first mustang was sonic blue. after i lost it and bought a different color stang i missed it like crazy. finally found me another sonic blue to go with and bought it

Stay blue man. I don't see many other ones like you and I. I've only ever seen one other true blue, and I seem about 2 sonic blues in the past like, 2 years lol.

I was blue before orange. Great color. So many choices, so little time. Remember, orange is like red. You stick out like a sore thumb. I did not know how to make that sound cool. But you get my point.

It will cost you waaay more to remove the sunroof and have something fabbed up and have the roof repainted than it would to just fix the sunroof.

Sunroofs on these are very uncommon, I would leave it there.

I would be willing to bet if someone could find the production numbers, yours wouldn't have had very many made. Whereas a red coupe there were a whole lot more made.

What is wrong with your sunroof now? I assume it does not open. Does it make any clicking sounds? Or does it not make any sound at all? If it clicks, it is likely the guide cables binding or the plastic gears are worn and not cathcing. If it makes no sound at all it is likely a bad motor. Either way you would be looking at less than 100 bucks vs several hundred for a custom piece of sheet metal welded in, then the roof prepped, painted and a new headliner.

If it is just leaking, then replace the seals which are cheap, or it could be the drain tubes that run down the a pillars. Get back to me with its exact problem and I can help further. Some pictures would be nice as well if you can.
