Would a 2011 v6 mustang vs give a 02 gt a run

The v6 is stock I believe

And the gt has cold air intake and pypes exhaust

yea it would easily win there's no changecexcpecislly woth the performance package the gt wouldn't keep up

Yes, it's possible. I took my wife's 2011 V6 automatic to the drag strip once and it did the quarter mile in 13.8 secs. With the exception of a tune, it was otherwise all stock. A friend with a 2001 GT was disappointed that it was faster than his stang.

the GT in that year in manual would see 14.5 or a bit better perhaps depending~ auto is a bit slower high 14's stock~ the V6 should be able to handle that at the track

yea they have 305 hp and the new edge gt's have 260 or a little more if im not mistaken

well peak hp really doesnt mean that much, its not about how much but how you make what you have never compared the hp/tq curve through the rpms~ but I know the 4.6 has a lower tq

yea those 4.6 wouldn't keep up like i said expecially with the light weight n more hp and tq of the 2011 ford did good
