Turbo is exhaust driven and Supercharger is belt driven. Do some research on both before you chose. Turbo would be sweet because of a Blow off Valve but I love the way supercharge sounds and even more with a Bypass Valve. At the end it's what you like.

Research a ton before buying something like that!

Turbo needs more supporting mods because it puts out a lot more power unless on low boost.
I love both though.

Not sure what a socket turbo is ?? And it really kinda depends on what you want out of your car. They both have pros and cons as well

Bigger power=bigger price. What hp range are you wanting?

Sc will get you there and is cheaper than a turbo. Im not sure what the v6's internals can take so research whether or not stock internals need to be forged or not.
Id definitely do sc though if i were you and wanted that 300 range. I believe the v6's come with like 190hp and youll make about 250-350 depending on your boost level.

The stock internals can take up to 300hp, so around 8-10psi on a sc. You can slap that on your car now and be good to go, definitely can't say the same with a turbo. Basically, a sc will give you better bottom end power and a turbo will give you better top end. So sc will start out fast and a turbo will end being fast. It's all about preference.

Hmmmm.... You might be able to do an exhaust turbo and an sc... Could put out 350-400hp if it works. I'm really not too sure

It could be done, but a lot of work and forging.

I honestly wouldn't spend that kind of money on that kind of setup for a v6 or even my own. Huge money pit compared to what you'll get out of it compared to getting a 4v stang

The stock motor can take less than 400rwhp easily if tuned properly (detonation blows ***** up)

Used supercharge kits float around often for <$2000 supporting mods you can get cheap, focus pump or aviator pump both can be had for under $100, terminator injectors support all you'll need and are usually $150 or less

Go for it. Having a lot of power is useless unless you can get it to the pavement

Why haven't you already done that? lol, yes, definately put the 8.8 in and get some gears. 3.73 for 5 speed and 4.10 for auto

any sort of FI you'll be able to get up there, just got to make sure you have it tuned right and make sure you have any supporting mods you need.

if you can afford this build why not just sell the v6 and look for a 4v? sn95 cobra's aren't pricey now-a-days lol.
