Exhaust question and also noise problem , help ?

I have 98 mustang v6 5 speed , it has the 3.8 .

I recently replaced the clutch , pressure plate , throw out bearing , pilot bearing , resurfaced the flywheel , and put in a new transmission (used) .

When I replace all that I had to cut the exhaust pipe , and now I have no way to put it back together , so while its like that I'm thinking about just getting a new exhaust , something to make the v6 to sound mean , any ideas ? I really like the slp loudmouth , with off road x pipes and o2 eliminators . But I don't have the money for all that , so I might just do mufflers and o2 eliminators , since I hollowed out my cats .
But what are your ideas ?

And also , one the passenger side of my car , it makes a popping noise out the exhaust , like a back fire , or a miss fire ? Any ideas on what to do ? Or what could cause it ?

Thanks .
- Justin

Just under $300. A must have if you want a great sounding exhaust, especially on our 3.8's. Pair with a good set of single chamber mufflers and you will be very, very happy.
