Questions about Hood Pins

My hood flew off the other day, and ripped the hinges completely off. There isn't real bad damage to my hood besides a chip. I have already installed hood pins in the front, but I was wondering if anyone has a decent idea of how to weld a bracket for the back hood pins?

And no damage to the windshield? We're you really going THAT fast as to where the hinges broke off? Or we're they rusted, because the hinges usually hold and the hood hits the windshield. But you can just get new hinges and bolt them up to your car. Unless you ripped it off where the bolts go. In that case you can weld something on there to make new holes. But measure twice. One little mistake and you're hood will be all sideways

Just go to a recycle center and get more hood hinges.
