Cheap appearance mods

What are some nice cheap mods to do in between doing the bigger more expensive ones? And by cheap I mean around $100 or so. As an example I I changed the color of my gauge cluster lights to blue.

You could change your interior door lights to blue as well

Bullet parts, dash clock, and you could go all black. For the price of paint.

Cheapest mod is the gas pedal mod. Take a nylon spacer and put it on the cord in front of the gas pedal. Much better throttle response. I chirp my tires if I get on it.

VHT nightshade - $15
Mach 1 Chin - $45 (right now on AM, its a sweet deal... Normally like $70)
Mach 1 Grille Delete - $70
LED dome light - About $15 (Color of choice)
8" Antenna - $15
Plasti dip - $5.98/can (prices vary)
Cut springs - Only need to pay for alignment

The list can go on and on.

I wouldn't buy the Mach 1 grille delete.. Just take off your grille and then dip the inside. It looks the same. And it only cost's you around $7.

Well when people look at the holes from the original grille you can go ahead and think it looks the same.

Nope.. Not any that I know of. I think I'm gonna join alamo city stangs no fee. Just show up to the meets on Saturdays and the only fee is buying a sticker for the car either the front window sticker or the rear bigger one $20-25 and a shirt is $9

I see what you are talking about. But I take my car to shows and meets where people look at it up close. That's why the only plasti dip that's touched my car so far is on the wheels. Don't get me wrong I've plasti dipped so much crap on the truck and other stuff, but I like the clean look on the Mustang.

Try dipping your strut tops if you show your car, mine came out looking better than new.

Yeah I understand that.. But mines not show room quality so I don't mind the dip for now. But once I get a paint job it'll be a different story

What's the big difference? The only difference you can see if is you're up close. Either looks better to me. Everyone has there own opinions though.-.

But the holes are going to be covered and everything when I get the paint job done to it. So no holes or dents will be on the car anymore.

Mines not show room quality either, rock chips all over it and a couple dents and scratches here and there. Even with all that I've won 2nd place once. But if you like it then I'm not anyone to stop you. We do what makes us happy.

For a quick outer appearance mod, Homemade chin spoiler? There's always hating and loving about it, usually the guys with lots of money are the haters, Its a cheap way and wont hurt you budget much. I did it for $13 from Home Depot. I like it. Just used Garage Door Bottom Sealer... Check out my Avatar picture you can kind of see what I did. Either you hate it, or you love it. And if you don't have lots of money, it's something good to just try out, and if you dont like it, it doesn't hurt your budget.
