I have a 98 mustang seats in my car and I was wondering if you can put in the newer seats and where I can get the conversion brackets at.

All 79-04 seats mount the same. 05+ you'll need to switch the seat brackets. Custom brackets aren't required.

You already have brackets on your 98 seats. You need to swap them onto the 05+ ones

Right. Your existing tracks have the right dimensions, you just need to mount the 05+ seats on them. Do a google search on changing them over, as I'm not sure what it's going to entail as far as if any welding is required.
