changing the springs today

well im changing my spring today and i starte did the driver side rear ad it started raining

The old ones look either Eibach Sportlines or H&R race springs.

i didn't get to do the front i because i couldn't get my shock out it was so rusted so for now i have the rears in and ill leave te fronts for next week

won't it affect the car at all and how can u change the front without removing my shocks n calipers and all that stuff

You don't have to take off the calipers, just the shock bolts

yea i know but i could get them to nudge i need a deeper soccet

They are mostly to keep sound and vibrations in check. You can wrap the ends of the springs with electrical tape if you want to remove the isolators.

Take the calipers off if you can, it makes it a little easier, and you dont want to lower the A-arm too far with all the hoses still hooked up. It'll put a lot of tension on the lines. My shocks were a little rusty too, WD-40 is your best friend when your doing this. Soak it for 15min then soak it again, as many times as you need to to break them loose.

I did my rear shocks in the rain starting at 8 pm It had been raining for almost a week straight, and the outlook didn't look good so I said screw it and went outside and did them! I was completely soaked and my back and butt were numb afterwords because it was cold. Mind you, this was this past Sunday...Germany weather sucks!
