Tuner choice

Here within the next 2 weeks I plan to buy a tuner, I eventually want to bump up to 93 octane and remove the rev limiter and bump the speed limiter up to something I don't need to worry about hitting like 200 mph so I don't have to worry about that

Basically I want because I have an auto so I want my shift points stiffend up, I want basically the most out of my tune as possible

I've heard bama does good with shift points but are alittle conservative on their tunes as in not giving you absolutely everything out of your engine
I've also heard about Ortiz and that their good just not super big

Was wondering people's opinions on everyone's tunes

Also any prices better than $350
Thanks everyone

There's always someone who has negative feedback about anything, sometimes letting other things like a bad day affect their opinion on everything. Or may not be the person's style which a lot of people purchase things without researching the product expecting more or less and dont even know what they're purchasing then complain because its not what they wanted.
If there are good reviews 9/10 then its most likely a good product.

Good thinking. I could buy all the mods im wanting at once but im also trying to save for a new house as well, patience is a virtue.

I think you'll be very happy with one of our Bama custom tunes! The shift points alone are well worth the upgrade. Plus, the Bama Team will work with you to get the most our of your Mustang if you feel anything could be improved. On top of that, our Free Tunes for Life program allows you to get free tune updates for any future bolt-on mods you add down the road.

Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns I can help with. Or better yet, give one of our Bama Tuning Specialists a call directly @ 888.257.1770 and they'll clear anything up for you!

Shane

I would get one I have one and the 93 tune is great my shifts r much more stiff and when I wot I chirp my tires in 3rd, I've taken off my speed limit, and there's a big diff in it. And it's also great to read codes if u have more than one car. I have a bama tune I've heard of Ortiz being good but haven't tried them yet until my next mod.

I'm the one representing Ortiz Performance, he tuned my built sixxer and a couple other members cars here. Yes bama is conservative with their tunes, point in my case, I had the 93 "race" tune dynoed back when I just had a bolt on car, 11.5 Air/Fuel and 24-25* timing. N/A motors work best around 12.8-13.2 Air/Fuel varying between cars, and you can run up to 30-31* timing on 93 octane.
