mufflers or no mufflers??

Best for performance ?? No mufflers divorced duals ?? Or dynomax bullets with divorced duals??

The difference gains you get from mufflers/no mufflers is so little its pretty much 100%
negligible.

Most of the track only cars I see only have open headers or straight pipes.
If you got a bigger cam, it would probably sound pretty good with just straight pipes.
The cam('97 4.2 cam) in mine sounds like **** after 2500.

I like our cars without mufflers actually with a decent mid pipe...the only reason I went to my borlas is because I wanted a sporty tone compared to the deeper rumble of straight pipes.

Anybody have a sound clip of this ? I don't know a V6 car with no muffler at all sounds like just that, I've never heard a V6 car without a muffler sound good, but I'm open to listening.

prochamber straight pipes out the back



prochamber striaght pipes out the side



and current setup with the borla stingers..personally i like the stingers more then straights but i did love the sound no mufflers had at wot
