99 Mustang 5-speed theft system

Had intermittent problem with starting, dealer replaced computer with refurbished computer. Have had to take it back to dealer now going on the third time. Has anyone had this same problem? They say they reprogrammed the keys (2), reloaded software twice and replaced battery. I am not sure now if she even needed a computer and have lost any faith in the dealer, not that I ever had much anyway.

I had a problem with P.A.P.S., too. If the thef light stays on and the dealer can not fix it you can always get a tune with the theft system turned off. P.A.P.S. does a lot of communication with other parts. But, the only thing it stops is the fuel pump from working. American Muscle sells a tuner or chip that will let your car run. The stupid theft light stays on for a while, then your battery light stays on constant. If you are having half the problem the dealership gave me, this is minor to a nonfuncting vehicle. This will not fix the comp. just paps.

new engine,1.7 rocker arms,Pipes exhaust, shorty cats , shorty headers, under drive and overdrive pulleys,4.2 upper plenum, throttle body spacer, cold air intake, stage one clutch, shorty shifter, and tune. 8.8 in storage
