If it has a v6 engine it is NOT a Mach 1..it's a v6 that is most likely just badged to appear to look like a Mach 1 mustang from the previous owner. Hope you didn't pay the price for an '04 Mach 1 ......

No such thing as a Mach 1 package. Show us pictures of the rear and engine bay. How much did you pay for it if you don't mind me asking

I only paid 6,000 for it and that's 3,000 under what the Internet says, so I didn't get ripped off.

Ouch. Dude, I hope it's in really good condition and low miles. A bit more money and you could get yourself a GT. a Mach 1 goes for double that

+1 a Mach 1 is a step up from the GT, and a v6 is a step down from the GT.

The good news is, you can put a v6 cold air intake on your car and the sound system is great!

If it has over 60k miles I suggest you take it back! I bought my 01 V6 for 3 grand with 80k miles and my 02 V6 lightly modded for a trade value if 5 grand with 110k miles

How long ago? Take it back! don't get me wrong man, your car is still awesome, but I'd get back there and try to return that on the whole principle they tried to play you by telling you that it's a "Mach 1 edition"...an 04 v6 with 116k is not nearly worth what they got you for IMO

I payed a $1000 for my 1995 V6, it had a 156,000 when I got it. Engine blew at a 160,000. ON a Very hard 400 mile trip, we were stomping on it though. It happened for almost no reason, engine temps were great and everything. Then just the engine started rattling and it died. I spent a little more than a $1000 on the engine that's in it now though.

My car was sitting with all the fluids in it for over a year in someones front yard. As long as your car has had proper maintenance it should be fine, Some people get these engines to last over 300,000 miles.
